Hello everyone, I'm new to all of this, so I hope you won't be too hard on me. We'll polish the format as we go. I've noticed that most of the posts here are pretty formal, and forgive me, but that's just not my style, we're not at a funeral. And since I'm a newcomer, I can't exactly write one of those classic posts telling everyone what they should or shouldn't do. Quite the opposite, actually. What I can share are the fresh impressions that come with those first stumbles everyone here has probably already gone through, but that might still be useful for other newcomers. To start with, I came across the game because it looked interesting. The landing page is attractive and well designed, giving you just enough information to get a good idea of what the game is about. I've also played other games in the same genre that I really enjoyed, so I decided to give this one a try. I have to admit, though, that the first few minutes made it pretty difficult for me. So let me ask you something: am I the only one, or is this game almost impossible to play? Not because the gameplay itself is overly complicated, but because the interface is tiny, small, micro. And yes, my eyesight isn't what it used to be either, but I honestly think that whoever designed this either uses monitors the size of a football stadium or simply didn't realize that some things are practically impossible to read. How do you all manage? Right now, I've been taking screenshots and zooming in afterwards just so I can read things, but that's pretty cumbersome. And if you try to scale the interface up, it actually looks even worse, because the text overlaps and everything becomes a mess. It's awful. I even opened a support ticket to ask if there was any way to make the interface larger because it seemed so strange to me, but apparently that's just how it is, and there's no option to change it. This is where I'd like to mention my experience with support. Maybe I just got lucky, or maybe they put extra effort into helping new players, but I have to say they replied quickly, in Spanish, without it feeling like an automatic translation, and in a genuinely friendly and approachable way, not with the usual overly formal response that sounds like it was written by a robot. I really appreciated that, and it's one of the reasons I've decided to keep giving the game a chance. So far, it's starting to hook me. The tutorial is good. It's a bit basic, and even after finishing it there are still some mechanics that take a while to understand, but overall I think it's well done. You also have to leave a little room for experimentation, not everything needs to be explained right from the start. On top of that, it isn't very long. At first, when you see there are 50 steps, it's a little intimidating, but in the end it doesn't feel like a chore. So that's another point in the game's favor. The rewarded tutorials, the "First Week" ones, are pretty enjoyable too. They don't feel tedious either. The problem is that they're tucked away in a little subsection, hidden in a corner that's easy to miss. I only found them because I was clicking around out of curiosity, but it would have been very easy to overlook them. And since they're only available during your first 30 days, I'm pretty sure a lot of people end up missing them. Anyway, I think that's enough for now. I'm going to keep playing and see how this adventure turns out. And since comments are free (or even rewarded), I'd encourage you all to share your own experiences. That only makes things more interesting for everyone who reads them. See you around. Be good, be patient ... and mine a lot.

I found your perspective refreshing because it focuses on the new player experience rather than advanced strategies. One thing that stood out is how small usability issues, like interface readability or hidden tutorials, can have a much bigger impact on player retention than game mechanics themselves. A great strategy game only gets the chance to show its depth if new players feel comfortable enough to keep exploring during those first few days.

Welcome to the game! I absolutely love your casual writing style—it is definitely a breath of fresh air around here. And trust me, you are absolutely not alone regarding the tiny interface! We have all joked about needing a magnifying glass or a stadium-sized monitor at some point. Trying to use the browser zoom and watching the text immediately overlap into a chaotic mess is practically a rite of passage for new players. It is fantastic to hear you had such a great experience with the support team, though. They really do a solid job. Also, good catch on finding the 'First Week' tutorials! You are completely right that they are tucked away in a hidden corner of the menus, which is a huge shame because they give such a great boost early on. Keep exploring, keep writing, and definitely keep mining! Looking forward to reading about your next adventures.

Welcome to CoinRepublik! Thank you for sharing such a genuine and honest review of your first day in the game. I completely agree with you regarding the user interface; scaling issues can be quite tricky for new players to navigate at first. It is really great to hear that support was so responsive and helpful! Make sure to keep completing those hidden "First Week" tasks to maximize your initial rewards and boost your daily energy. Looking forward to reading your next update!

Hello and welcome. I want to thank you for this article. As you mentioned in your text, this game has a somewhat complex interface. Like you, I’m also a beginner and am learning every day how to navigate my city—it hasn’t been an easy task, but I think that’s because I’m not used to this style of gameplay yet. I hope we can learn from our early mistakes.

This was a refreshing and honest article from a beginner’s perspective. I enjoyed the informal writing style because it feels natural and relatable. The comments about the interface and first impressions are valuable feedback for both developers and new players. Sharing real experiences like these helps the community understand the challenges newcomers face and reminds experienced players how important guidance and support can be. I look forward to reading the next entries in this diary.

🎮 Great post! I completely understand your experience as a new CoinRepublik player. The small interface can definitely be frustrating at first, but I agree that the tutorial and friendly support make the learning curve much easier. 👍 I also think the First Week rewards should be more visible so new players don’t miss them. Keep sharing your journey! 🚀 I’m looking forward to hearing how your strategy develops. Good luck, be patient, and mine plenty! ⛏️💰
