There have been many very good articles written on the game so far however all of them encourage planning or something along those lines. Whilst this is all well and good in a perfect world this is not a perfect world. If you have a look at what Toatesmart is doing to the Spruce Wood Market this will eventually happen to every single saleable commodity in the market. Yes it has a long way to go but as the returns drop and continue to drop for every product in the market the more and more that gold will become the one and only thing to produce You might think otherwise however I am in the belief it isn't how fast you can build your city it is how fast you can extract the gold whilst others are investing it. Remember in a real world economy someone has to pay for something you sell. This game is no different. The only way you will get paid out real cash in this game is if new players keep investing. Once that investment stops so does the ability to cash out. That makes everything else in the game apart from gold production a distraction. Be it owning shares, building an economy that produces high end products that will eventually drop in price to producing regular workers that people will buy to wars and owning your own country are all 100% distractions. The one and only thing that matters is gold extraction and how fast you can extract it. Now don't get me wrong this game will be around for easily another 2-4 years because those new players will continue coming and keep thinking by massively upscaling their town they will get rich off it. However the time and cost (in gold) investment needed to get to that scale is just massive. Some of these players will spend a good lot of gold on the game and most of them will suddenly realise the time and cost needed over a sustained period of time and then stop playing. The developers are counting on this. So point 1 is build your town around how fast you can extract the gold. Second point is realistically understand how much time you have available to play the game. There is no point aiming to use the entire map to build your town if you just don't have the time to maintain it. At a bare minimum every thing you do in the game takes an hour if you don't pay someone to cut down the time. This cuts down your profit margin. But it becomes necessary if you need to maintain a big town. Also as your town gets bigger the energy required to click every single little thing just gets bigger and bigger the only way to get more energy is to trade gold for energy. The game is like playing blackjack - the game is stacked heavily in favour of the bank. Now in saying all of that you might not be here to make money but just here to enjoy the game for what it is .... a game. That is totally acceptable as well but just be aware that any money you invest that you will very likely never get back. Lastly it must be said Vlad Cristian and his team have created an absolute beaut of a game and for a strategy game probably the best on the internet of this type on the internet at present. Thank you guys for the time and effort you have put into it to allow us the players to get a huge amount of hours of enjoyment out of it. I hope it is around for a good number of years to come 🙂 . Did I mention the support? Superb! PS: For those of you who did read all the way to the bottom of the article a tip: the best way to avoid the tax for being occupied by another town is to buy premium status. Once you have that the tax becomes obsolete. So the tip is: Don't send troops to premium towns - it is a waste of resources.

I think one valuable point is matching your strategy to the amount of time you can realistically dedicate to the game. Even the most profitable city on paper can become difficult to maintain if you cannot keep up with repairs, production, and routine management. Building at a sustainable pace often leads to better long-term results than expanding faster than your available playtime allows.

When selling goods on the public market, players must calculate local and international taxes, meaning pricing strategies are essential to maintaining profitable margins.Skill-Based Outcomes: The platform utilizes zero random-number generation (RNG) elements or gambling mechanics; every successful trade, optimized production line, or mining yield is the explicit result of careful human calculation.Citizenship, Travel, and GeopoliticsCoinRepublik introduces a unique geopolitical layer that elevates it above a standard solo town-builder. Upon initial registration, players are automatically assigned citizenship in the country that corresponds to their real-world location. However, the game allows for full mobility through its integrated travel and migration mechanics.

This is a brilliantly realistic reality check! While most players get lost in building complex empires, the author exposes the truth: gold extraction is the only metric that matters, and everything else is a distraction. With commodity prices bound to crash and cashouts relying on new capital, the smartest players will extract gold fast and exit. An incredibly sharp perspective!
