The official withdrawal sends you crypto. But there is a second way to turn gold back into real money, and it is more human: the reseller marketplace, where players trade gold directly with each other for cash. I use it, so let me explain it honestly, including the part that costs you.
First, who the resellers are. A reseller is just another player like you who keeps gold on hand and posts offers - to buy gold from others, or to sell gold to them. Each one works in their own local currency and their own payment methods, the ones that suit where they live. So it is not one cold exchange machine. It is a noticeboard of individual people, each with their own terms. The good side: you can shop around and find someone whose currency and payment method actually fit you.
The obvious worry: you are dealing with a stranger. What stops one side from taking the money or the gold and disappearing? Here is the important part. The two halves of a trade are handled differently. The money side happens off the platform, by the reseller's own instructions - that part you manage yourself, with attention. But the gold side is protected by escrow. When a trade opens, the seller's gold is locked in an escrow account. Nobody can grab it. The gold is only released to the buyer once the seller confirms the cash arrived. And if a trade is refused or cancelled, the escrowed gold goes straight back to its owner. So the gold can never vanish - it is always either delivered or returned. The escrow is the whole reason this works.
Now the two ways you use it.
Buying gold from a reseller: you send the agreed cash by their method, and the reseller releases the gold to you from escrow. This is open to everybody, an ordinary way to get gold with cash.
Selling gold to a reseller: attention here. This counts as cashing out, so exactly like a withdrawal it requires premium. And you receive 10% less than the headline amount. That 10% is the reseller's commission - their payment for keeping gold ready, posting the offer, and handling the trade. Think of it like the spread a money-changer keeps at the kiosk. For me it is a fair price for getting exactly the currency and method I want, but you must know it beforehand so it is not a surprise.
There is also a third option if you grow into it: running your own reseller desk. This is a perk of the Gold or VIP premium tiers, and to operate one you must keep at least 1 gold funded in your desk. Then you are the one earning that commission.
My most useful advice: read the ratings. Because the cash side is off the platform, a reseller's reputation is your best guide. After a completed trade the buyer can leave a star rating, and a reseller's rating and total trade count are both public. Before you commit to anyone, look them over - a long history with good stars is a reassuring sign. The escrow protects your gold, but the ratings protect your time. Use both and the reseller market is a calm place to do business.
