Is the gold REAL gold? and why mining is so hard - what i found out

I want to share what I discover about the gold in this game, because when somebody told me the truth about it I almost could not believe, and I think many new players also dont know it. So let me explain, poco a poco. Ok the first big thing. The gold in this game - in spanish, el oro - it is not only a game number like in other games. One gold here is equal to one gram of REAL gold, the real 24k gold from the real world. Orale. And they say it can be taken out one day like a real cryptocurrency. So when you have gold in your account, it is not points, it is something with a real weight in the world. The first time I read this I was like, no way, verdad? But this is the idea of the game, the gold is backed by real metal. This is why the gold is so so rare in the game and you must respect every little piece. Look - to buy a new piece of land, one patch, it cost only 0.1 of gold. Only zero point one! And even that already feel like a lot when you start. Three, selling - some goods, people pay you in gold when you sell them. I want to talk about mining because this is the thing I was excited for, I thought I will mine gold and be rich, haha. But amigos, mining is HARD, very hard, and now I understand why. When you open the Gold then Mining page, you see that to mine even one single gram you need a huge quantity of things - many raw materials, many hours of production, and a lot of energy. It is not a small thing. You cannot do it in the first week, you need a gold mine and a big pile of resources first. And there is something very clever they build inside it. The whole game together can only mine more or less one gram for every one thousand active players in a day. So the gold is limited for everybody, not only for you. And more - when many players are trying to mine at the same time, the cost go up 10 percent every hour. So if everybody run to mine, it become more and more expensive for all of them. When I understand this I was a little sad at first, because I wanted fast gold. But after I think about it, it is actually smart. Because this is exactly why the gold keep its value. If everybody could mine gold easy, then the gold would be like the normal money, nothing special. But because it is so hard and so limited, one gram stays valuable even when the game grow very big and have many players. The difficulty is not there to annoy you, it is there to protect the gold. Poco a poco I learn to respect this. So my advice for new players: dont dream to mine gold tomorrow, it is a long game goal, something to build for many weeks. For now, the easiest gold for a beginner is actually the shares - you maybe already have one free share that pay you a tiny gold every day, go check it in Inventory then Shares, it is a nice surprise. And later, sell some goods for gold when you can. The mining, keep it like a dream for when your town is strong. I hope this help somebody.
