Fund balance, dividends and shareholders
In CoinRepublik, all gold-related taxes, such as exchange and mining taxes, are collected in a central reserve called the Game Fund. This fund not only gathers income but also supplies the mined gold, balancing its earnings and expenditures. Periodically, the Game Fund issues game shares, rewarding each shareholder with 0.0001 gold per day per share. For example, owning 100 game shares guarantees you 0.01 gold per day. Investing in game shares offers a reliable and secure way to generate a steady income within the game. Below, you'll find detailed statistics and transactions related to the Game Fund's performance.
Fund Balance
A CoinRepublik share is an asset type linked to the game fund that pays dividends every single day. For every game share you own, you will receive 0.0001 gold every day. So for example if you own 324 game shares, you will receive 0.0324 gold every day.
Shares are issued by the admins from time to time and sold to players at different prices, depending on demand / supply.
While there is no fixed number of shares that can be issued, we can issue new shares as long as the game fund has gold to pay all shareholders in the next 6 months. Let's assume that the game fund has 100 gold and 10,000 shares are in circulation. This means that the fund will pay 1 gold per day to shareholders. Taking into account that it has only 100 gold, which only lasts for 100 days, no new shares can be issued. If there were only 5000 shares in circulation, then the balance of the fund would have reached for 200 days and we could issue new shares.
Yes. You can buy or sell your shares to other players at any price you want. Go to market to see a list of sellers. Take into account that the price at which you buy stocks is very important. Since a share automatically brings you 0.0001 / day or 0.0365 gold / year, the purchase price plays an essential role in profitability. For example, if you buy a share for 0.03 gold, you will recover the investment in less than a year. If you buy a share for 0.1, it will take 3 years to recover the amount.
